About Me
Hello, I'm Kevin, an M.S. student from the department of the electronic and computer engineering, NTUST! I have been working on deep learning recently- unsupervised domain adaptation in my graduate program aiming to reduce performance degradation caused by domain shift problems. Before my graduate program, I was an intern at ITRI and was in charge of building a monocular depth estimation deep learning model without labelled data. As from researching deep learning, I also have studied related fields, including IoT, cloud computing, and embedded systems. I used to work in a cloud computing company called CKmates. Since theoretical knowledge is crucial for writing efficient code, I also practice data structure, algorithms, and other related critical theoretical knowledge!
Work Experience

2019/09 - 2020/01

2021/03 - 2021/08
I studied AWS Well-Architected Framework and made an IoT project. I used AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateway to develop the backend while using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to develop the frontend.
I developed a monocular depth estimation model. I studied a paper called "Digging Into Self-Supervised Monocular Depth Estimation" and used PyTorch to implement the architectures proposed in the paper. After training the depth estimation model, I adopted the concept of triangle similarity to convert the prediction to the meter unit.
